Felix in Hollywood (1923) is a short animated film directed by Otto Messmer and featuring Felix the Cat — a popular character created by Pat Sullivan and Otto Messmer himself — about his journey to meet famous Hollywood stars from the Golden Age.

The storyline is simple and separated into two acts: Felix finding a way to gather money for his owner so he can travel to Hollywood and then Felix trying to land a job as an actor. But the story is clearly not as important as the gags are — given the purpose of these shorts at the time, which was to provide comic relief at the theaters — , with the high points of the short being the depictions of famous Hollywood stars of the time, such as Charlie Chaplin, Douglas Fairbanks and William S. Hart.

The ink on paper and cellulose animation short was very well received at a time when Felix was a very popular character and had a huge variety of appearances such as in films, toys and even as a mascot. It is now available for watching in the Internet Archive organization website for free.
